I am one of those philistines who prefers the fat Elvis years. I'll take "Suspicious Minds" over "Hound Dog" a small majority of the time (The other time is spent with much self-loathing for admiring his on-stage karate).

I will say that "In the Ghetto" is perhaps the worst song I've ever heard. It actually angers me. Why...here's a little sample:
