Not strictly the Beatles but Ringo Starr. This is rough and crude but my excuse is that  i''ve not been  feelin' good this week. Sciatica and all that shit. It wasn't the Marshall cabs but the twin reverbs that did the damage.Anyway I've finally managed to join in..............Wlllie

This is very cool, Willie - nice laid-back vocal delivery, and I can imagine Marc Bolan playing this in similar style.

It's a Carl Perkins song covered by the Beatles, but I think songs they covered qualify here without reservation. Ringo seems to be the least appreciated Beatle.  :(  I really don't understand why - in my opinion, he's one of the greatest drummers in rock and roll, ever. I even like his voice!

Hey, y'so frickin' right there, cuthy boy. Bonham? Suck it, fatso. Moon? Suck it, dypso. There is only one drummer would be welcomed into henwrench Towers. And that be a drummer who never play the same t'ing twice. We love ya, Willie.... Welcome Aboard.

This is a great song and I agree about Ringo.

I tried my hommage by attempting "With A Little Help From My Friends".

I hope somebody does "Octopus' Garden".  I've considered it a few times  but it's too complicated for me.

Great cover - picked up the old style feeling with your version. Sounds like Ringo was there playing the drums as well. Loved the Vox.

Good choice Willie , i love your version , it's got a great vibe to it , would have liked that lead guitar up a little higher in the mix , but still like it lots , great vocal too

Ringo was allways a great drummer , don't care what anyone says

Nice groove Willie, that rhythm guitar had a kind of T Rex feel to it! Never heard the song but it's close enough to the Beatles for me. I really liked the lead going on there, I would have liked that a bit higher in the mix. Nice job all round.

Cheers,

Nigel
