As discussed a few days ago with Cuthbert, I too had chosen to do a song from Revolver. I had a strong feeling we were going to do the same song but neither of us would divulge too much information.

Anyway, I really dig Cuthbert's version of this song. Excellent production and psychedelic feel on his.

Here is my stripped down version.

Thanks for your ears.

Sandy.

You know Sandy, somehow I had a feeling we might be going in the same direction, too. We dig so many of the same artists and songs, so I guess an overlap would have happened sooner or later...   :-\

Now, I really like this stripped-down version of 'She Said She Said'!  Your vocals are great and immediately recognizable, and along with the acoustic guitar, it has a live and very intimate feel. With your style, you make this song your own. 8)

This one's iPod-bound. Love the Beatlesfest!

Now that's what I'm talkin' bout! You really put out that cool vibe, bro and I think this was just a marvelous listen! It definitely had that feel that comes with a beach bonfire or something.

You did well with the low notes too, thought that was great.

Right on!

Oui monsieur Le Visage de Fuzz...C'est une guitare classique de LaPatrie. Fabriqué au Québec.

...I grew up in Beaconsfield, Québec.  ;)

FuzzFace

Hé, moi aussi j'ai une guitare classique "LaPatrie".

I grew up in New Brunswick, I've been in Montreal 3 years.

And I grew up in Ontario and now reside in New Brunswick, and, moi aussi j'ai une guitare classique "LaPatrie".  Its a formidable confluence of intersecting circumstance, leading to the irresistible conclusion that us Canadians love our Godin guitars, our music, and our deep fried potatoes with warm gravy and cold cheese curds .  As for this cover, it is hearty, rich, deep, satisfying, good for you and very tasty, just like a nice bowl of poutine.

It's tough to get a good poutine out here on the west coast...New York Fries does it okay but the pub I frequent just added it to the menu and it's grated cheddar and mozzarella with gravy and fries...
C'est de sacrilège!

Man I'm hungry...lunchtime.

My first decent acoustic guitar was a Seagull, made in Quebec. And although I live in Maine, I have never been to Quebec (been to Toronto). I should remedy that situation someday.

Now this poutine, she sounds strangely intriguing...anything with fried potatoes is my favorite vegetable!  :D
