Hoorray! My first attempt for this fest, and it is not the last day of the festival!!!

The song's production was straightforward: piano and voice. The attentive listener may suspect DaSilvaSings has 3 hands. It is only an accoustical fenomena called "multitracking". In fact, there was a lot of copy-paste in the piano part, since I don't play it very well - I can't play more than 4 measures without failing some note...

If possible, try to listen this at night.

Nevermind the Bollocks, here's DaSilvaSings

Yes sir, thats a beaut.  Great, really great vocal here.  The piano is excellent.  You know everybody, pro studios and all use the copy/paste and multitracking on their stuff.  You sound real pro.  Great cover, lots of feeling here.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Hey Miguel, this was a nice listen - and one of my favorites from 'Revolver'.

Some of those piano runs reminded me a bit of Eric Satie in places. Lots of emotion in the vocal, too. (Oh, and it's nighttime here).  :)

I love Beatlesfest...  8)

This is pure awesomeness!

Your phrasing and the slower feel reminds me a lot of Worried Shoes by Daniel Johnston...I'm sure this song was an influence on Daniel's song as he is a major Beatles fanatic.

I love this version...exceptional Miguel...truely inspiring.

Again, thank you very much for your comments!

I did something on this song I don't do usually: I spent 5 minutes thinking on the lyrics, what they meant and how they related to me.

I'm in a particularly joyful period of my life, but I managed to dig deep and bring up ghost from the past/ the skeletons in the wardrobe!

Oh! I almost forgot! I was with a cold and that's why the higher notes sound more painful ;-) - OK that's the secret!!!

Bluesberry - I've started with piano lessons this year, and I'm really excited with it. I hope soon (?) I can record without so much editing! My dream is to be the pianist in a bar frequented by spies! "Play it again, DaSilvaSings"

Gritter - I'll check Daniel Johnston. I' only had time for a quick youtube search, but sounds promising.

Cuthbert - arghhh - I'm not worthy... I'm still struggling with Gymnopedie... Thanks! I'll post soon something else on this

Geir - Revolver is probably my favourite B's album, and the only one I have on vinyl. The original of "for no one" is a blast. Not only the song is great, but the arrangements are wonderful... and complex... I suspect that's why our versions were cut to the essential ;-). In the meanwhile, I promise I'll post AYBCS even if you make the "ultimate cover" of it like you did with Lady Madonna(I suspect you are on this one)

So many good Beatles covers recorded for this here Fest...

This has got to be my favourite. This is the stand out track of the Fest for me and that's why it is more than deserving of a bump.

I just realized, this sounds like Bob Geldof and Johnny Fingers. This is magical!
