Very nice, I really love your guitar line there, sounds like you are using fingers instead of a plectrum.  There is a real punch to your lead guitar.   Thats some playing.  Great vocal/lyrics.  This is about as good as it gets.  Great song.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Another smoker my man and Larry hit it right on, the guitar licks and the vocal chops makes for one lethal combination.
Had me looking for some room for a verse...

These is one cool track.

Great job.

Great tone and vibrato.  And then the killer singing comes in!

Best vibrato I've heard on this site.

What are you playing through?

Hey thanks everybody as always I really appreciate the feedback and yes Bluesberry you were absolutely right I'm using my fingers instead of a plec - actually I'm sort of doing that more and more these days, partly because I can never find a plec when I need one but also that I like the separation you get when you play with your fingers.

Blooby: On this track I used the Native Instruments plug in called Guitar Rack 4 with a Fender Stratocaster plugged straight into the computer. I havn't really had a good play with it yet but it seems pretty good and very easy to operate.

I'll see if I can post something else later in the week.

general note to everybody:

I really appreciate your feedback as I tend to write in a lot of different styles for different projects and I'm trying to decide which direction is sort of going to be right for me and its all too easy to lose sight of what is working and what isn't when you just record by yourself. I'm sort of trying to find out which ones suit my voice and this board is really invaluable to me so thanks again everybody :)

Trev... this is one bad ass bluesy tune. Love the synth punches... really adds a little spice to the song... the leads are played with some real attitude and the vox to match. Love it. Thanks for posting.
