The Void and the Future - Song A Week 2010 - 31

Another skirmish song. One hour to write a song to a posted title. I think this needs something... a bridge or something. But it's better than the one of the other songs I wrote this week "Let Me Borrow Your Tuba" written from a facebook post from a friend.

This time flies by so fast
Nothing ever seems to last
Never depend on luck
Or you will end up
Trapped by the void and the future

The plans you make can fail
The spice of life can stale
Never depend on luck
Or you will end up
Trapped by the void and the future

If you are lucky enough
Then you will find true love
You won't depend on luck
And you won't end up
Trapped by t he void and the future

We're all writing 'time' related song at the moment! We should have a TimeFest, lol.

A solitary guitar and vocal track has no right to sound this good. Perfect tonal balance, recording and performance. Your songwriting is sounding so confident on this. Another cracking track!

Great man and guitar tune! I took my guitar and played along!! Fine job, again!

Your singing reminds me of Jack Blades (of Blades/Tommy Shaw fame, one of my favourites) love that voice!
Keep singing!

Another post gremlin episode. I know I commented on this one. I went in for another listen and sure enough it was gone.

Anyway, great song
