Quote from: Tony W on August 02, 2010, 12:46:56 PMCool little ditty here fuzzface.

That's what I was going for... "a little ditty".

I had the idea of taking this John Lennon song and transforming into something that say Paul Simon would sing à la "Scarborough Fair" or "59th St Bridge (Feelin' Groovy)".

But in the end I am glad just to have got it done, as my attention span seems to have a 3-hour time-limit, which impacts my style a lot.

I second that this is a cool little ditty!  :) Interesting story behind it too!  Well done!

It's true.  It's amazing to think that these guys have been immortalized simply because their poster caught John Lennon's eye.

I can't decide if this is pure brilliance or brilliant purity,  I guess it is as naked and raw as it gets in such a ditty of a song.  great version, fragile as hell.

Its great stripping down a song and giving a different feel to it. You managed your objective of doing a Paul Simon copy of this. Enjoyed the acoustic guitar playing and vox, they are well balanced.
