Here's me and my son Gabriel doing the full Abbey Road Medley - Mean Mr Mustard, Polythene Pam, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, Golden Slumbers, Carry that Weight, and The End. This really felt like an impossible task when I started trying to replicate all the piano and orchestra parts etc on guitar and putting the songs together even half decently. I took a few liberties here and there but I think it's all recognisable to the originals :D

All done on the MBR then stitched together in Audacity.

We gave it our best shot, and I'm proud at how Gabe stuck to the task. A real labour of love, this one.

Had to host this at 128kbps on Soundclick, but it's downloadable. It's just under 10 mins long.

This is just fanfreakingtastic !!!!!

You've done a fabulous version of the medley. A task so overwhelming that even taking it on is an accomplishment by itself.

And you've passed with flying colours !! Besides Rubber Sou,l Abbey Road is my favourite Beatles album, and I know it very well, so when I give you guys 5 stars on this it's because I mean you've done a great job.

Gabe you've done a fantastic job on vocal duties !! You have quite an amazing range of your voice. And you sing with such conviction. And you even sing harmony-vocals on carry that weight!! Excellent !!!!!

Tim, what can I say, you've raised the bar once again. You've definitively broken the code for the Macca bass!!! And you've managed to pick the essence of the medley and make an arrangement that "has it all" with the limited instrumentation you've used. I'm listening for the third time now, and ... I don't miss a thing !!!!

I'm stunned !!!!!

This one will get many listens !!!!!

Wow!  Gabriel is really getting an education... I hope he has the chance to listen back on this 20 years from now.  Love it when he shouts 'Oh, look out!' and then the glass shatters... right before She Came In Through The Bathroom Window.   :D  And then there's the first ever Micro-BR drum solo (as far as I know)  And there was still enough magic shinning through to evoke a tear at 'and in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make.'  Fine job, you guys!   ;)

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Utterly fantastic, really.  Great job on vocals Mr.Gabe.  Tim, what can one say, floored is the only verb I have at my disposal.  I am shattered by the epic awesomeness of this LABOUR OF LOVE.  Your bass sounds so very good.  I am impressed.  I cant believe the vocal range and strength of your son, so very good, all in key.  That "Golden Slumbers" part is killing me, so very good... this is officially the most incredible thing I have ever heard on here.  I have darn goosebumps from listening to the end part.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

I am certainly biased toward music, but I can't think of a father/son project...certainly cooler than the times my father and myself cleaned out our flooded crawl space. I still can't identify that large dead rodent we found.

Great playing.  An absolute corker of a lead in "Pam."  And the bass is killer. Singing! Everything.

Fun.

Gabe and Tim, please take a bow...  :)

This is certainly the most ambitious BeatlesFest entry to date - and you two have done it with great style and grace! I love how you connected it all up - must have been a bit like re-inventing the wheel!

Just a great, great listen.
