Excellent job on this, Mark - one of my early faves from 'Rubber Soul', and not an easy one to play. Your guitar and vocals sound great!

I love this BeatlesFest!

In the U.K., it first appeared on Help! (released 6 August 1965).
In the U.S., it first appeared on Rubber Soul (released 6 December 1965).

According to Wikipedia:

"I've Just Seen a Face" is a song by The Beatles. It appears on their 1965 UK album Help!, although in the United States it and "It's Only Love" first appeared on the Capitol version of the Rubber Soul album.

and...

Capitol Records chose it as the lead track of the US edition of Rubber Soul, with the intent of giving the album a strong folk sound in step with the then-current Folk Rock movement.

You're only right, henwrench! My fox pass...  :)

In the U.S., this song was first released on 'Rubber Soul'. I'm such an old fart, I still remember it from the 'Rubber Soul' LP lineup (it was I think the third Beatles album I bought in the late Seventies). I hate that the record companies over here re-ordered and switched around tracks to move more product (Capitol Records...bah!). Only cool thing about that was some of the tracks had a slightly different mix - I still prefer the Capitol Records mix of 'And Your Bird Can Sing' over the one on Parlaphone...
