I listened to a midi track someone else did for this tune. Attempted to simulate a sax on a synth.
Okay, timing-wise, but no cookie on tone. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a tenth of one point, just
for having the balls to try it. I'm a string guy. Pressing keys is alien to me, even though there is a piano
in the house. Keys are my wife's domain. She is a good sight reader.

Thank you, gentlemen, for your insights into this tune. When I first listened to the track I was also struck with
the talent of the vocalist. She does not spend time online so it is doubtful that I will be able to do another collab
with her. I will be listening to this tune far into the future.

Great solo Gene, I'd maybe try using a stereo delay effect insted to get the main tone clearer in the mix, but not a major issue. Playing is fab !!

I will experiment with the stereo delay. I didn't try that on this tune. Instead, I double-tracked the original
solo with a short delay between the tracks. I've got so many electronic toys here, I am not likely to live
long enough to master them all. Example: My rack-mounted Chameleon (digital preamp plus effects) has
been in use for nearly 20 years and I am still using only the first 10 presets, out of 100 of them.
Works for me.
