I finally got my dream guitar last year, although it is in Midnight Blue.  I'd prefer this one, but unfortunately, the rareness of the one-year-only and Japan-only color keeps the price not very nice:

I want this Danelectro 'Dead on 67' in lime green. It's my birth year and I love the retro vibe of it. It's had some very good reviews. And what's more, it's under £300.

The Epi hollowbodies arent bad, but the stock pups are muddy, which dosent fit well with a semi-hollow IMO.

I think the funky acoustic with all the necks was commissioned by Pat Metheny.

The one Andy McKee is playing is a harp guitar made by (I think) Dyer.  Michael Hedges used to use one on "Because It's There" as well as a few other tunes.

It is a massive sound, But It looks easier to play than a normal guitar........

Would I be correct in saying that....?

And Quite Limited as to what you can do on it, if you want to stay in line with the open tuned strings......

Ask Bluesberry... he has an Epiphone Sheraton I believe. Unless I'm imagining it, lol.

I have a Hofner verythin semi-acoustic, and it's based on the Gibson ES-335. It's a very, very good guitar for the price (c.£400). And it's a real looker too.

I love that Rick and that Danelectro! Especially the blue sparkle Dan... that really is a cool guitar. Not to everyone's taste probably, but it's definitely mine, lol. I envy you!!!!
