last week it was up for 599 euro, which I thought was just a bit much. But do you agree it would be a good buy for 499 euro?

personaly i don't think it looks well made for the money.
and the inlays look a lot like the Ibanez artcore range.
why not have a look at them.

i had one a few years ago i sold for 350usd-bought it used at 300
it was an ok guitar-wanted to change the p ups but never did
499 or 599 euro seems high to me

Yeah thanks, that's what I was thinking too. It's a nice guitar, but just not one where you should pay too much of a "contemporary classic" fee. Keeping in mind guitar prices are always about 25%-35% higher here than in the US, I'm still going to walk away (if it's still there in a month or so, they may consider an offer of 350.

These pics were leaked recently...New Fender Sig Jazzmasters-from none other then Sonic Youth!  Ive always wanted a  Jazzy with Humbuckers, this one looks nice.   Thurstons p90 equipped version looks interesting too.
