Another very simple Lennon cover of one that was very simple in the first place, lol. I've re-evaluated a lot of Lennon stuff because of this fest, and I'm feeling these songs 'fitting' me better than the more obvious Beatles ones. He did some really brave stuff after leaving the Beatles - way more naked, emotional and brave than Macca. Anyway, this one only has two chords, and I cut one of the verses (sorry John...).

Bravo, what a great version.  Man your voice is so spot on here its a thing of beauty.  Deep emotion.  Bloody fantastic song.

I've always loved this song and you've nailed here really well.

Well-played and well-sung.

I love it.

Well, this was always gonna be a good 'un. Your voice sounds great here, Greeny. Two chords, eh? Sounds like more, but then thats the trick, that only a master can teach us mere mortals.

Damn fine cover, Tim - vocals and guitar; it's amazing how good two chords sound when played by the right hands.

And at this rate, you should also have most of Lennon's catalog done before September. ;)  :D Wish I could deliver anywhere near this level of quality so quickly!
