Hi,

Not sure what this is or where it's going. I'd like to have words and melody but I've come to a bit of a mental block.

Feel free to do what you like with it. If you need bits let me know and I will post other versions.

Cheers

Harry

hi flash,
like this one. i put it on my mbr but was unsupported format so had to convert it and wors fine now. though all instruments seem panned to middle like it was mono, did you master it to two tracks or just the one.
anyway i did my stream of thought thing, uno 1st thing to come into my head , here are the results at 2min30secs where it goes off at a wild tangent i couldnt get anything to fit so i faded out an is now 3 mins long, apparently the optimum time for a single to be successful.
hope you like it.

Hells bells - Way out of the blue. I didn't expect that at all. I like it. I don't think that the track does the melody and lyrics the treatment it deserves.

There is a part where the two diverge a bit. I think that I need to put some more work into it. How do I get just the vocals track onto my machine so I can work on it?

Thanks for the response, thanks for your time.

James does it again! Brilliant.

It has the quiet, conversational feel of Blancmange's 'The Day before you came' (the Abba cover...).

There's a nice, gradual increase in intensity here. Lovley collaboration guys.

here is the vox track as promised.
to import the vocal tack into your song.
connect your mbr via usb or plug your sd card into pc if you have a slot.
import the track into the mp3 folder.
then when sd card is in mbr and you are in song mode for this song.
press utility
press track 2 trk
press right cursor
select track 1 imp
use the value button to select the mp3 track you want to import
press track 4 next to import the track
use value + button to select track canvox.
its a stereo track select a free track using the value + button
then select tim eg, if original song is on tracks v1 1 and 2 import the track to v1 tracks 3 and 4
then select next and track will be imported to the v tracks you have selected.

hope that makes sense

Excellent work.  I love that ending.

Question - was the acoustic recorded direct or with the mic?  There is a harsh buzz on that part - loose pickup, fret buzz?  A buzzless, warm acoustic tone would add alot to the song.

Flash Harry

It's a cheap Takamine. they save money on the peizo I think. I have a nice mic and I'm going to do the whole lot again more in keeping with ORH's vocals.

Thanks for the comments.
