this is like a companion piece to go along with my other song about the weather "weatherbeaten".

well today the sun shone and it shone brightly and hard but was it just teasing us?

drums and sounds from juno di and oldrottenhead chanting about the weather intea the onboard mic on his microbr and cursing card read errors when trying to master the bugger
the words

hey
the sun
it came out today
yeah
it caught us all by surprise
i had to take my jacket off
and i even had to loosen my tie

but i kept my jacket
on my arm
just in case
the sun
was teasing us

like it often does
when there's not a cloud in the sky
except
that one
and it doesn't look
so very happy
being so far away

it looks so forlorn
as it heads away
over the horizon
but don't feel  sad
 for it
will return
to torment us another day

ach!
here comes the rain
well i'm glad i brought my coat
i new it wisnea gonnea last fur long
aye
the wind changed
direction
happy days are here again
well at least if you're a cloud
hey!
the sun it came out today
yes
it caught us all by
surprise
hey the sun came out today

Fine and fresh song, Jim! You're a great keyboardist...I really enjoyed the music. Yes, the weather is very significant factor in people's mind...and songwriter's, too. Well done!!

I am really loving your latest "juno" songs, so much life here.  Classical pop kinda.

thanks guys having lots of fun with the juno. ron the muddy sound is most likely caused by a patch i used called blizzard which has a deep bassy wind sound, i was trying to get it to sound like a swarm of bees.but i'm not changing anything with this one it stays as is, onto the next song sez i. will probably be influenced by the rain and clammy heat.

I must agree with Bluesberry - I'm digging these songs from your Juno period, Jim.  8)
