The Gulf or When Whales Cry..original Music BY Neil Swanson cp 2010

THIS song i composed using the magic of computer electronica music. i added the soft guitars
to create the sound or at least attempt of whales crying or dolphins. in leiu of the recent
GULF OIL SPILL . the last six months. , and today i read it s still leaking but not as bad.
i feel someone for sure will do a film about this , when it s all over. we hope. !. as an
animal lover of all kinds. i dedicate this to the creatures below the sea, and to those
who lost their livelyhood. in the gulf from fishing ..there.hope u like this . consider this
a new age peice, TC NEIL ........................................................................................

i find this a very well put together piece, Niel.

very moving.

i spent 41/2 years at sea in the 12 years i spent in the Navy and have heard whales on the sonar when hanging with the sonarmen.

they are majestic creatures and is a great piece in tribute to that!!!

I too am an animal lover and I am PISSED OFF at the idiots that spilled all the
oil! I also posted a song about this mess and others that our politicians have
allowed to happen,,,,
As for your post though Neil, I like it very much!
As I sit back and listen to this composition, I can picture the whales warning the
other animals to stay away from the gulf.....

THANKS so much gentlemen for the kind words. u hit it right on the nose
when. u said the whales r crying to warn the other fish not to come to the
gulf. wonderful interpetation. i love how u alll read into the music. i wish
i had the qualities for comments that u all do . but i guess my gift is the

IN answer to the plugin for drums. it was all looped re drums. and resampled into the
song its self. re layering tracks together and sound effects, the guitar was synthesis
from the korg. also with various effects and a wah type sound agian thanks neil
