Well I think that this is a pretty interesting piece. I made up the syntheseisers on my small Nintendo DS on the games Korg DS-10 and Electroplankton, when I were on Åland, on a small island without electricity. And without guitars. Well, just one small Yamaha Guitalele. The jazzy chordprogression in the beginning and end were something that I had been having in my head for a couple of months, and now found a way to use. The first scratch of the full song was recorded on Gotland and my aunt's farm, were my family stayed for a week. But that version wasn't so well thaught out, with the fact that I wanted to put on more guitar tracks, that soloed over the syntheseisers. You know, a kind of Jeff Beck tone. But I just couldn't find that tone on my guitar. So it would be really nice if someone here on Songcrafters could lay on that kind of guitar track.
And for thte name; the thing was that I just had programmed, on my DS, the Zeppelin song "The Ocean". So I thought this as my "Ocean", in the same advanced fashion. But I called it Lake.

Tjänare .... welcome to the site ! First song of your's I've seen. Checked ot your playlist and introduction. I see talent runs in the family !!

Back to this one:

WOW ... cool track !!

quite complex and fun to listen too ...

yes it could need some more over that synth-part. I'd love to have a go at it, I'll put it on my mbr, but due to prior engangements it might take some days before I'm able to work on it.

Oh well ........

Bro

Nice piece of music you've got going on here!

I love the relations between the synth part and the electronic kind of influenced parts.

I'd hit that guitar track if you dont mind?
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

Very well played and original. Just reminded me slightly of John Williams and Sky and there aint nothing wrong with that.  Keep them coming.  Willie

Well thank you for the great comments. 0jimihendrix0, I would love it if you'd put some guitar on it. I mean, it doesn't do me any harm, does it? I just see it as a favor from you. Geir, it would be really nice if you put on guitar on it. Thanks to both of you for just giving it some thought of putting in some of yuor touches in my music.

Very nicely done. I can hear touches of Erik Satie on the guitar chords. And the electronica is pretty far-out! Some clever stuff going on here. I prefer the guitar parts personally. They have a lovely lilting quality. All good though.

 Hi and welcome..
Very intriging...reminded me of a Zappa piece..
I think some kinda guitar chops would add to the synth work..

Wow! I found your Rory cover just now and went hunting to see what else you've posted.

I didn't know what to expect after listening to Ain't Too Good, but I wouldn't have anticipated this.

You've got some stuff going on... There's loads of creativity on this site, but it sounds like you're bursting with it! :)

Love the guitar playing and, although I wasn't expecting to, I really liked the synth parts as well.

By the way - for future ideas/inspiration - I read recently that "The Ocean" was Robert Plant's name for the Led Zeppelin audience at gigs, and that's where the song title came from.
