Hi, turned the telly on on friday night and there was one of my favourite singers singing one of my favourite songs by Kris Kristofferson. Just had to have a crack.   Willie

a great cover of one of my favourite songs. i love the story that kk (when he was undiscovered and i think a helicopter pilot ferrying guys to the rigs or somesuch) was hounding johnny cash to  hear this song to no avail, but he got jc to listen by landing a helicopter in jcs back garden saying hey johnny listen to this. i believe jc performed it that night on tv.
but it might be an urban myth.

great performance willie

Well done!  I don't know the original, but now I don't need to.  This is good songwriting and a very well crafted cover.  Downloaded! ;D
Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

Well done Willy, great version and done at a great tempo. I prefer this to the version Johnny Cash did which was a lot faster...Well done    Alex

have a read at this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kris_Kristofferson

Further, he achieved some success as a performer himself, resulting from Johnny Cash's introduction of Kristofferson at the Newport Folk Festival.

In a remarkable incident, Kristofferson grabbed Cash's attention when he unexpectedly landed his helicopter in Cash's yard and gave him some tapes including "Sunday Morning Coming Down".[8]
