It's the Hofner 'Contemporary' series, which means MADE IN CHINA, lol. It's a lovely sounding guitar though for a realtively cheap instrument. The only thing I don't like about it is the way I can accidentally bend notes with just a bit of pressure on the neck. The neck joint isn't quite solid enough to stop the neck flexing a bit. I work around it though - it's just a good sounding guitar to have on hand for certain things. A lot of Kite songs are played on it.

I whipped the scratchplate off on mine

I've just dribbled into my keyboard.  Willie

Being a huge glam rock fan I was looking forward to this one when I read the description, and now having listened to it I can safely say that I wasn't disapointed.

Superb riff work throughout as the backbone of the song, with Geir's incredible lead taking the song to an even higher level.

Vocals and bass spot on too.

Really enjoyed this one, its a stonker!

Love it - I do love a good glam rock stomp, with a hook you just want to shout at the top of your voice - and a blazing wah solo doesn't hurt either - great song!

There are only 12 notes, how hard can it be?....

Love it, I'm a big glam fan myself as I grew up in that era. I even used to have silly curtains long hair like Brian Connolly out of the Sweet. This is great fun, really rocks out well and the band just hangs together so well. Geir's solo is a very sweet addition, nice wah work that adds a different touch here. It's Geirmima's Kite!!!!!

Cheers,

Nigel
