Recently I picked up a Yamaha PSR 225 Electronic Keyboard.  I'm looking for something with bass guitar, other piano sounds, organ, strings, and horns.  This is the high end of the low end yamaha electronic keyboards.

I heard Elvis Costello sing this song at the end of the movie "Notting Hill" and liked it a lot.  The chord progression is pretty cool.  It seems like a good chance to use some of the new sounds of the studio.  I now understand "She" was a big hit in Europe in 1974, but not so much here in the US.

On this recording, I used the PSR 225 for bass guitar, grand piano, organ, and violins; along with acoustic and electric guitars, and DTExpress drum kit, and AT2020 cardioid condenser studio mic.  My brothers and sisters across the big pond might be tired of this song, but I hope you like my take on it.

I loved the original of this, but was a bit unsure of the Elvis Costello cover (probably because I hated the Notting Hill movie...!). It's such a beautiful, romantic song. Very close to songwriting perfection. You've done a stunning version - really lush & heartfelt, and perfectly understated. You couldn't have done it any better in my opinion. It has a Beach Boys feel when all the harmonies come in, which is a good thing in my book. I would never tire of this song. Totally marvellous stuff!

Excellent rendition of a truly great song , poor old Charles was known as Charles Aznovoice back in the day , which was very unworthy really , considering we had people like Des o conner making songs and making money by the bucketful , great post , especially the harmonies
