This reminded me of the first Northern Pike I ever caught. I learned a valuable lesson quick. Never stick your hand in a fishes mouth that has razor sharp teeth. The first pic is an action photo where the fish would be destroying my thumb. The second is the aftermath.

Migs... great minds think alike. I too took some time off of work too. My buddy from MN came up and we went fishin for halibut. My arms were freakin toast... couldn't play for a week. I plan on gettin some Silver Salmon in a couple of weeks... I'll have to post some of those pics too. I soooo have to go fishin in Australia sometime. What did you use for the Blooby Fish.... I have to catch one of those. LOL

I use a special tie-dye spinner for gettin the bloobyfish.  They aren't good for much.  I usually just throw em back.

Halibut and all flatfish freak me out a little with two eyes on one side and no colour.
Those things grow freakin HUUUUGE though... up to 8 or 9 feet !
