re the soft background vocals, why dont you give it a try to give me an idea of what you mean,

I can't sing to save my life. I've no pitch control at all. So I've added some keyboard tracks instead. For the chorus, I used two voices from the "Choir & Pads" voice bank of my Yamaha PSR-2100 keyboard. I also added a synth bass track.

If you want to remix it, here are links to wave files of the individual tracks for GothicVox, VocalEnsbl, and Synth Bass (they're about 19MB each). Don't feel obliged to use any of my stuff if you'd rather not. I promise I won't be offended.

Great track. I'm new here and this is the first thing that I have listened to. It looks like I will have to raise my game.

Music and lyrics are great and the technical aspects of the recording are far better than I have managed to achieve so far.

This is inspirational and quite daunting at the same time.
