The chorus was reminiscent (bet that's incorrectly spelt) of Steely Dan in style.  "Whisky makes you better than what you are."  Great line - and bound to impress the lady.

Really nice work - it sort of makes me think of a The Doors and David Bowie blend of sounds

Only thing I'd question is that while the other parts, expecially vocals, have really high production standards, the guitars are a bit 'ratty'/buzzy and lack much space or richness to the sound - it sounds like a DI off something without impulses? If you could up the standard of the guitars to match the rest it would be great. If it doesnt have any already, perhaps try sticking some impulses on the guitar sound to smoothen it and give it some spatial depth.
