WOW! Killer track...Hugely entertaining and kick ass...epic: like Meatloaf wrapped in bacon...tasty and meaty. I don't know how you did it but I'm so glad you did!

Ha, I loved that off-rhymed "Crushed like an insect" verse! That six minutes flew by like nothing, a really great tune all in all.

The pre recorded drum loops sound really good - I might have to try that. After a year and a half of using my 327 pattern presets on my MBR it's getting old fast.

Killer tune!

Throw in some mac-n-cheese and that sounds like a mighty fine meal.

I know how you feel when you can obsess over a song for months but you have definitely delivered the goods here.  It is so good - I had a smile on my face the whole way through.  You’ve got something to be really proud of here.

Hi Kev, it may sound unfinished or a little unpolished to you but it sounds f**king amazing to me.

Very ambitious hard rock piece. Cool riffs, great voice and fine arrangement! Drums are great! It sounds like Paul Cook plays on this! Well done, man!!

Kev, being a Sabbath fan (Favorite band) and seeing them live in the early days (never say die I ain't that old).  You sure you wasn't playing lead guitar in the band somewhere filling in for Iommi when he was ill. This is worthy my man. I bow to you.  Sabbath, I loved how they changed the song direction sort of mid flow to produce another great sound in the song like you have here.  Faires wear boots and so do you and filling them.  Gonna have to listen to the rest of your stuff now.

Hi, thanks for the comments - with the possible exception of BB's meatloaf picture, boy that sure is scary! ;D

Thanks - the whole reason I started using the drum loop CD's in the first place was because the drum machine on my BR1600 sounded so absolutely crap - I think the MBR may well have better sounding drums than the 1600.  But I have to say, selecting and loading acoustic drum loops from CD's takes a hell of a lot of time, it has for me anyway, so I would never tell anyone it is a complete piece of cake - Greeny or ORH would have recorded a double album a piece by the time I'd loaded a few drum loops.  The search the the perfect home recording drum solution continues...

Seeing Sabbath back in the early days - now that sure would have been something!  That reminds me, I put a little Sabbath tribute in the lyrics (for diehard Sabbath fans out there), the line "no, no oh please god no" was lifted from "Black Sabbath" (ie song 1 on the first album), as a way of introducing the heavy, sludgy section of the song!  Trainspotting, anyone?....
