Pleasant little ditty this is not.  Pretty homespun moral tale - definitely no.  So how would I describe it???  Brilliant!!
Guild Starfire 5, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, K Yairi and Walden and a 12 Stagg string acoustic guitar and other music making boxes - including mandolin, bouzouki and 5 string banjo, uke and acoustic bass - a few M-Audio keyboards and a flute - all played and treated with equal love and attention - zoom ut 2 pedal and Logic Pro X

Tim do you ever remember how to play any of your originals? This is another fantastic example of fine song writing. I loved the storm sirens at the end.

Massive, fucking massive. Agree with the fact that you are on a serious roll, brother. This tune sounds absolutely huge, crystal clarity all the way. I'm actually on a BIG Sparklehorse trip at the moment, listening to all the albums back to back and not much else, 'cept maybe a little Mike Oldfield. This tune just flowed from my speakers (everything old henwrench listens to is through speakers, real ones with an amp, not shitty PC things or headphones) like it belonged, like it had a right to be there. I would like a copy of whatever is gonna be your latest album, 'cos your last 5-6 tracks have been marvellous. I'd say lets collab, or save me a cameo appearance, but NO. I wouldn't wanna fuck your shit up. Lovin' it, Green One.

Cheers henny! I'm a massive fan of your songs, so I appreciate the good words. Yes... the album I'm working on is turning out very well. This is one of the only tracks with an acoustic guitar on, so it's a lot harder-edged and electrified than usual. I'm around 10 tracks in, but I want to do 14 as two or three songs are just little experimental link tracks / interludes. And I'm still holding out for a massive / killer song that will be the jewel in the crown.

I would be happy to collab with you anytime, anywhere - if you have anything on the go, I'd be happy to have it gracing any album of mine!

I always write the chords and lyrics down, so I can play most of them with a quick recap. But not all of them are geared up for playing live, so only a selected few get rolled out for open mics etc. I have a pretty big acoustic set now though... a good 20-25 songs that I like (and more importantly CAN) play live!

This is one that might make the cut. It takes me a while to digest them before I decide if they're good enough or sound right acoustically.

Cheers

Oh, good... I thought I was the only one who forgets how to play his own songs.

I thought I commented this already...listened it a couple days ago and now it sounds even better! The chorus is sooo melodic and catchy! Top song, again Tim!!
