A few of you know I accidentally wiped out one of my SD cards that had all my works in progress on it. I'm just starting to piece it all together again - A slow process. This was supposed to be a reprise to "In My Head" (Posted Here)  , but ended up being in a multi part number I was doing. I messed around with it acoustically last night and just finished it up instead of shelving it again.

Tony put a really nice solo in at the end that eventually blends in with some vocal harmonies. Sweet!

In My Head (Part II)

It's unbelievable
It's out of sight
Kind of unusual
But it's alright

I got a little
Song inside my head
I can't let it out now
So I'll hum a line instead

Ohhhhhh

Chorus

I want answers to
I need a reason for
All these questions
That I keep in inside my head

My life is beautiful
Full of surprises
And big disguises
Can't tell who is who

The devil might get me
On any given day
He'll come up from behind
And drag me away

But it's quite all right
My tomorrows are lived today
And if I'm a little worried
I get on my knees and start to pray

Very tasty!

Fellas, you've got a nice collab going here. I like the driving rhythm and the leads - and you don't usually hear these both on acoustics, so kudos to you both.

I know what a nightmare lost material can be.  I had an SD card that corrupted - goodbye songs.  Sometimes there's something to be said for the old tape four tracks. Having said that I think you have something nice here.  Sounds a bit like Beck in it's loose feel.  I like how you have done the vocal parts - I'm guessing you have recorded separate lines and then panned them - they sound impressive however you did them.
Good luck piecing your works in progress together again - look forward to hearing them.

I f*cking love your vocal on this. Absolutely superb. And the rest of it's not too shabby either, lol. Great guitar interplay, chord changes and general songwriting goodness. Very nice addition by Tony too. Great work.

I totally agree with LG totally agreeing with Tim.  I too f*cking love this and I F_ckin' love this.  Great sweet solo from the both of you, Mark and Tony.  Fantastic lyrics.  I can see your deepest thoughts with this one.  This has the deep launched spook.  One of your best Mark.
