Riff works, what does that program do for you?  Great playing here, kinda reminds me of something.  Dream like quality.

Hey thanks for the comments everyone!!

Riffworks is pretty cool BB, i would never replace my MBR with it however.  It gives you percussion (supposedly recorded clips of actual drummers) & Amp FX (which i'm not that thrilled about to be honest, sounds a bit too digital sounding), and it gives you a quick n dirty way to record guitar riffs and piece together a song segment by segment, which is a bit different...

The second time I have heard Riffworks mentioned here today.  I had a quick look at it and apparently there is a free limited download available.  Are you using that version here because if you are I will be downloading it tonight.  Great track.

Satchwood

Hey Mike, glad you liked my track!

The free download would be worth messing with if you have a way to plug your guitar into your computer.  I use "Stealth Plug" and ended up buying the plug and Riffworks "Standard" from Guitar Center for $149 bucks.  I'm still playing with it, but if you have a way to plug your guitar into your laptop or desktop and record then, by all means download for free Riffworks T4 and check it out.

Even if you don't have a way to plug your guitar into your computer you can still mess with the free instant drummer routines and hook together a drum sequence and then also check out the FX...

Hi Tommy

Thanks for the reply.  I've got what I suppose is called an external soundcard or interface or something like that (nio 2 in 4 out is what it's called on the box) which allows me to record onto the computer.  So I'll definitely go ahead and download the free version of Riffworks and see what noise I can make with that.  Thanks for the tip.
