Rob

All sounds went straight in to the MICRO BR built-in mic, except the keyboard (organ and pizzicato strings) which went in to the 1/4 in. jack. Breedlove OM flattop and Gold Tone solid mahogany resonator. That's it! I described how I did the background in an earlier post. I meant to add mandolin, but never got around to it. I probably will someday.

Thanks, Jim. I'm still around. Check the site daily. I'm not in a slump at all, just haven't taken the time to upload anything in a while. I promise something soon.

Ahh...I remember this.  The one with the kitten and the chickens.  Real touching song.

The cuckoo bird is a sample. That kitty cat died shortly after I posted this one. The horse is my neighbor's down the way, and the chickens (rooster) is mine - or was. He's gone on to that great coop in the sky now.

Glad you like it. I never did go back and add mandolin to it. I should try and find it (I've got like 15 SD cards) and do that. I remember jamming this one night at a rehearsal and our mandolin player at the time came up with some beautiful lines. Really complimented the feel - that "high lonesome" sound.
