Gone For Good

I was asked by another member why I haven't been posting any new material, and I didn't have a very good reason, so here goes. Thank you, Lori, for your encouragement. You've always been my biggest fan!

This one seems appropriate. A tremendous sense of loss is one of our strongest emotions. Even worse, when it's realized because of a decision you've made, and there's no way to reverse it. Living, or should I say carrying on, in spite of that decision can bring on an emotional roller-coaster ride that's unpredictable.

There are also events that can escalate that sense of loss to an unimaginable intensity. Gone for good. Nearly unbearable, but life must go on somehow. Bury yourself in the daily grind and try to forget - she's gone for good.

I can feel the sadness, very nice song and well played *sniff

This is just a tremendous guitar sound and the organ sound is so cool to, born of loss but turned into such a beautiful piece of music, just magic.

Lovely song.  Sounds a bit like Eric Clapton.  Good thing though.  I would cheer it up in the end if my wife left me in the end though.  If she saw this I would be dead LOL.  Amazing guitar.

Nice to hear you again, Farmjazz... been too long
Masterful playing on this one, as always and certainly an artful job of bringing out the emotion through the music.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Really enjoy listening to this.

I'm sure I heard a little kitty go "meow" in there...that's a real special touch whether intended or not.

WOW, Please try not to make us wait for such fine material as this again. I'm in total awe of the playing, the song and the production. Superb.  Willie
