It really sounds lovely.  That middle part has an almost mandolin sound going on.

Cheers guys for the great comments as ever.  I know it needs some practice to get right for mixing thus missing out some of the bum notes but mixing you guys know takes time and when u r under the record button pressure I find it hard at the Mo.  So that's why it's live.  Didn't know what else I could do apart from a proper mix but Satches idea of percusion on the fast bit could be interesting.  Any other ideas r always welcome.  No tamborines though or bag pipes (Riche).  Mind u a tambor could go.  NOOOOOO.

This impressed the hell out of me. I love both the slow and the manic sections. Both have a folky celtic vibe that brought Led Zeppelin IV and Jimmy Page to mind. Fantastic playing! And that's a great first effort on the recording front.

Well done, I always worry when I post a song that it's not good enough or I don't have the expertise to record properly, but don't you worry, your playings great, and the guys on this site are generous with their time and advise to get the best out of newbies like you and me.(don't be fooled with my amount of posts, I'm still a newbie)
