The falling down water...I've never heard that before, thats funny.  You have almost got a major key blues kinda song on your hands.  Reminds me of early Fleetwood Mac sorta.  You put a nice clean blues solo on this and it would work really good, like Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac vibe.  Great song SE.  Not too slushy and that heavy rhythm guitar is great, works well.  The drums sound really good here.
