Thanks everyone for the great comments!!  btw my son digs the pictures...   i really got to get him to do more drums for me.... we jammed percussion together with some sort of kettle drum thingy and his drum kit ....  shoot maybe i'll lay some percussion tracks.... oh what fun!!

Except for the vocals (recorded on 1 stereo pair), everything else was recorded on single tracks:
1 basic rhythm track,
1+1=3 (MBR fx) track,
1 strings track,
and 1 noodley solo track.

Tommy, I just found this thread....What a great song you have made.
It has captured the lure [pun intended], of fishing for catfish perfectly.
Very dreamy sound, like the dreamy feel of waiting for the catfish to hit.
