Thanks guys - Here's a remix with everyones suggestions.

Dave, as to "leave that lead guitar alone during singing", I hope you mean don't change the levels and not to even pick it up and play it during singing....  :o  I like it as background filler but it might have gotten louder now that I lowered the vocals.

I put the tracks back in the MBR where I can do a better master since I know the master effects patches.  Kicked up the bass a little that way with the Dance Comp setting.  Now maybe the lead parts are too loud however?  You know how it is, you're your own worst critic... :-\

I'll give it a listen right now.  No I didn't mean don't play it while singing, I really liked it, I meant the levels were good on that guitar part relative to the singing part.  I really like guitar during singing, especially in blues songs.

Much better Ken, real nice bass line that I can now hear really good.   Lead parts are not too loud.  Its got a Mark Knopfler vibe going on here.  Its good.

"Keep on playing the blues"
please don't stop Ken.
Nice production here,
Outstanding guitar work, Laid back tasty leads.
vocal work is good, song really fits talking style vocals in the verse.
Harmony vocals really fill out chorus.

I really have no criticism, Vocals have a couple pitch spots but nothing major.
Keep working on your vocals
I think they are sounding better all the time.

Nice work on this Ken.

This is a good one - I love it.

It's funny that I didn't see you had already tweaked your mix, and was thinking that Dave(BB) had pegged everything I had thought of. Then I heard the second mix and everything sounds much better!

I really like the vocals. They have a unique style and delivery that make the tune. One thing you might want to try is cutting some of the low end on one or both of the vocal parts - I think they would blend better with each other and the cool lead you have going on in the background.

Great stuff!!

I like the bouncy feel and the lead part playing along with the vocals.  Both are well produced but I think the second take does have a more professional sound.  Nice.
