Not sure if I should admit this, but I like the crash test dummies, even though the singer looks like a zombie and sings like a vampire.

Well, Greg Madill is a good friend of mine, so I vote for him and his band

And apart from that, also Le Vent du Nord

is a great band too!

So many and too much to mention so I won't - but I will watch every crap movie that has Lexa Doig in.  I'm not even sure she qualifies as Canadian given her ancestory, but I just don't care.

And some of the music to Andromeda is pretty cool so I hope that justifies this random comment.

Guild Starfire 5, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, K Yairi and Walden and a 12 Stagg string acoustic guitar and other music making boxes - including mandolin, bouzouki and 5 string banjo, uke and acoustic bass - a few M-Audio keyboards and a flute - all played and treated with equal love and attention - zoom ut 2 pedal and Logic Pro X

I'll crack out a loverboy vid in a few minutes as a subtle reminder that 80's style really wasn't as cool as I once thought.

I don't know these guys, but I REALLY like what I hear. I can see why you dig them - pure musical quality.

Yes, Blue Rodeo have been around for a loong time. Lots of good tunes.

The one Canadian band that i can`t believe which is very popular here and northern states is The Tragically Hip. Vanncad put up a vid already. They should be even more popular.  They have so many Incredible tunes. Gord Downie the lead singer is an incredible poet. If you get their greatest hits CD, you will love them forever.

Check these out! Happy Canada day!!

Oh yes. I'm a convert. The fact they have a telecaster and a danelectro bass on the go in this one grabbed me straight away, but the song is brilliant. Like REM but better.
