Hello all,

So I've moved halfway across the country to Asheville NC. I'm finally getting settled and back into music again. Here is a little something I am working on. This could either be a segway into another piece or the beginning of something more epic (much longer and more powerful). I'm not sure yet, but I'm kind of thinking of elaborating on it. it needs drums.

Hope all is well.

I should have more coming soon...

Sorry for the extra noise in the end, I've been having problems with my MBR. When I try to record I often get a "LINE BUSY" warning.

ORH, please do. It might make some changes, but I think the beginning is gonna stay the same same, I'll just lengthen it a bit. Anyways, give it a whirl.

Love the way the guitar parts blend together, really expertly played and put together.

A vocal on this will take this to another level I am sure.

Outstanding piece here Eric. Always love the subtelties in your style and approach to music.

Great arrangement and masterful musicianship, Erik.
Can't wait to hear what Jim does, he has a way of making it sound as if he were working with the musicians  all along. It's magical... and what a canvas you've created.
Looking forward to the out come.

Muchas Gracias Nelson! I love your music btw. Reminds me a bit of Tom Waits (a personal favorite). I have the computer hooked up to the stereo and I'm listening to all of your songs. Fantastic! Are you a recorded artist? Meaning, do you have CD's for sale? Compliments from such a telented musicans goes a long way with me.

Btw, I agree about ORH. He's a master at his craft. Check out Pain in The Neck (a collaboration we did together a couple years ago) it was aired on BBC6.

Gritter, thanks so much!

I love the way you fuse your melodic guitar parts together into a clear, coherent mix. Perfect playing, separation and (as always) a great ear for a hook. This needs to be worked up into a longer song with vocals, because I love the feel of it. A future winner for sure!

I know Asheville. Been through it a few times and stayed there once. The gateway to the great smoky mountains - one of the most beautiful places in America in my opinion. Hope you are finding your feet and happiness there!
