GDN - A lovely composition, and even with all that's going on in the mix, it never feels 'crowded'. It's well played and produced, and the sincerity in the vocal adds passion to the overall feel. Well done.

From a guitar point of view - this was one of my more complicated arrangements.  The chords were simple and the progression straightforward, but I had a lot of fun fitting in my ideas on five seperate tracks using an acoustic, my Starfire and Telecaster all sharing the honours.

Thanks for the listen and comments - makes me happy to be becoming a member of this commune.

if this was complicated, then you've done a excellent job with making it sound easy. your slide work is well done.

bravo

You know what you need on this? DRUMS. Big, clattering drums!

(I'm joking of course, lol).

This feels tender and heartfelt. I like the panned, gentle strum that anchors it all down. And the touches of slide - subtle and interesting. A lovely composition and a good all-round performance.

I should have said complex as opposed to complicated.  I set off from the start to layer in the guitar parts, trying to to leave each its own space - Normally I just lay down the basic tracks and vocal and then improvise until it's full of sound.  The complicated bit was putting my brain into gear.  Cheers :)

DRUMS!!   *******!!  Oh it was a joke. ::)  Well it's out my system now  LOL ;D ;D

Thankee for the kind words all.
