My last post reminded me of this, hiding away on the dusty side of my SoundClick site.

Wasn't going to post anything else just yet but this seemed timely.  Don't listen if you are a regular traveller by train. ;D

The "Nightmare" is the title of the series of songs - some would call it a cd but to me it was a project.

Train departing platform three
Please have your tickets ready.
And enjoy the ride

Destination,
Not Arriving.
Station in sight,
Platforms awry,

Red light are flashing ,
No one attending,
Siren sounds Clashing,
Screaming fills the sky.

Motion is slowing,
People are falling,
Ceilings are crawling,
Long demons reclining, Waiting for their ride.

People are falling,
Ceilings are crawling,
Long demons reclining,
Waiting for their time.

Time for waking,
Before this devils train arrives.

Time for waking,
Before this devil train arrives.

Enjoy, enjoy the ride.

It always feels like I'm heading for hell when I catch the train each day, so this is a fine soundtrack for the journey. I like the spooky vibe and the dreamy rhythm of the train track that comes through on the guitar interplay. Really well constructed and conceived. I like it!

Gritter

This is real cool. thick with atmosphere and tension. To me it sounds like something that could have been on Sandinista when the Clash were experimenting and writing songs in the studio...Big Audio Dynamite and even Paul Simonon's latest with Damon Albarn - The Good, The Bad and The Queen also come to mind. I don't hear the Ska T, but definately Dub meets The Old West.

Tony W

You've found an excellent vibe with this. I love the layers of guitar and vox. That drum really adds to the atmosphere.
