Just felt like doing something different.

Suddenly some of my earlier songs have resurfaced.  Cheers I'll get round to the replies after another hour or so recording another song I prepared earlier.
Guild Starfire 5, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, K Yairi and Walden and a 12 Stagg string acoustic guitar and other music making boxes - including mandolin, bouzouki and 5 string banjo, uke and acoustic bass - a few M-Audio keyboards and a flute - all played and treated with equal love and attention - zoom ut 2 pedal and Logic Pro X

I like this, Gu Djin - is that the squeezebox again? Your vocal delivery brings Paolo Conte or Serge Gainsborough to mind, I hope you don't mind the comparison (intended as a compliment).

Oh, and it's a little spooky as well...  :o  8)

cheers,

Unfortunately the squeezebox wasn't mine - I was storing it for a friend.  It needed some work when it went into storage - some keys didn't work properly - and then I made matters worse by playing it, so it's gone back in it's box.  This an emulation on this piece, however if I hadn't had a few happy hours playing on the real thing, the emulation might as well have been any flipping organ keyboard.

I learnt to play the flute because I couldn't get the simulations right.  Since doing so I've a better understanding of how the things work - In other words I'm a messer abouter with things to get the sounds I want.
