I want to thank you ALL, you are very kind!  :)

Dear Cuthbert, as I already wrote, there is something for everyone in Zappa music...

There is also a second FZ tune I love and I'd like to cover, but it's strange, the original is so beautiful to my ears that I have many, many doubts, I cannot decide if I will try to record it or not...

I fear that someway I could harm it...  :-\

I haven't got a clue about the original, but I know fantatastic musical skill and feel when I hear it. This is an incredible jazz trip. Mellow summer magic. I'm seriously in awe of your playing and arrangement skills. It sounds like a full jazz band!

Today I decided peek my head out of the secluded hole where I've been hiding and listen to the Zappafest jukebox. Alfstone, what you've done is fantastic.  I read your initial post here three times to make sure I got it right:

Quote from: alfstone on June 16, 2010, 04:16:31 AMI've made the backing tracks and the soprano solo sax using Band-in-a-Box realtracks.
The guitar is a Godin ACS SA through the Roland VG-99. The brass melody line is again the Godin, this time via the Roland GR-30. Everything recorded with the Boss BR-600.

Mix using Izotope Alloy for the single tracks, then Adobe Audition 3, and finally T-Racks 2.0 to *spice up* a little the final mix.

This'll be the song that launches 1000 GAS attacks.

Beautifully done.
