WOW! well what can I say if we get the okay from Bluesberry among others who is one of the finest artists here, then I can die happy.  Thanks for the comments and help if it wasn't for all you guys then it wouldn't have gone as far as it did.  A little note the lyrics were written about 30 years ago (Bad news is I got a few more) but no music ever written for them so fair play to Alan (never sang before) and went with them without changing one word (how do you sing supposed?).  Well done to Riche in spending time on the remix (even if he did lose my out of time Acoustic bit).  I am studying The Sadies on Utube now.

Did Bluesberry mention he loved the song?

PS we have lost the lead singer now he's back in Quatar after a weeks leave.

Thanks to all

Quote from: Bluesberry on June 19, 2010, 07:27:42 AMVery nice, it sounds live.  I love this song guys.  Alt.country kinda stuff.  We have a fantastic band here in Canada, "The Sadies", this kinda reminds me of them.  Its got the spook fellas.  Damn fine song and recording and performance.  Damn fine. I am loving that big ass solo there.

I just went back and listened to the original mix/recording.  You guys have improved this song 1000%, very good job.  This is ready for radio now, it is perfect as it is.  I am listening again, damn guys, I love this song.  It is getting to me big time.  I can't believe the difference from the first 2 versions.  I love that lead guitar Riche.  Fantastic lyrics and really fantastic vocals from Alan.  You guys have produced a monster song IMO.  Did I mention I love it.  One of the best songs I have heard on here in over a month, no kidding.

I just checked your locations, UK, you guys sound like a Canadian Alt.Country band here.  Thats the way I hear it.

I am so chuffed you like it, Your generous  comments make it all worth while in fact everyones comments were great. I am well made up tbh. I really like this song too and ive heard it a lot more :)  ..

P.S duno about the alt.country thing thou  ;D

Hey bro

I like this much better than the first version, nice guitars and vocals! Keep it up, so less cider and more practice on a saturday night!

Greeny

Very nicely done. Smooth and subtle, with a very slick production. Great stuff! Some clever touches on the guitar and harmonies too. Let's have some more... !

j.g.

Nice revamp, also sounds a bit R. E. M. style as well. Is the vocalist gone for good or will he be back. He fits in well to your overall vibe.

Donkeydoo

He should be back for a week in august so will have to wait until then if we want vocals.  He's too tight to buy a micro BR and register on the website.  We could post the music and stuff to him to do the vocals then send back.  That's Bro's for ya.  Gonna have to kick his Furry Ass and I hope he's reading this.   ;D.  Otherwise it's to the collaboration board.

Bluesberry

Back for another listen, damn guys I like this song.  You have captured something here.

Bluesberry I think I know where you r coming from now.  Listening more to your stuff it would fit in as Alt Country if that includes Neil young. Umm interesting.  I did tell Riche to make it heavy in the End though (being a Black Sabbath fan) which reluctantly he did and made a good job.  yea maybe?
