A new song from you is always an adventure Dave. So I need to sit down and make sure I'm not distracted when listening to your posts. 

This is fantastic Dave. Even after just 1st listen I can tell this is my new BB-favorite. From that great acoustic opening and through the wonderful piano and bass, the usual top-notch BB-guitar, and the masterfully played harmonica and to the final solo eveything exudes quality. Vocals are fantastic too Dave. This is my new favorite.

One question...are you panning at all?
This song has so many good thing going on harmonica, elect guitar, acoustic gtr and so on but some time it seems a bit crowed in the middle. Pan some of the instruments out to the left and right and I guarantee, the song will breath much easier and sound even better. It sounds like you have a big ole band in your house and everyone's getting there chance to shine. Outstanding musical arrangements. Great lyrics and your vocals are getting stronger, with every song I hear.
I would love to hear this song after you experiment with the panning and levels.
