This is way cool!
It is an interesting diversion to the normal Croce cover.
I'll have to admit that this is better than Jim's original version.
Bravo to both of you!!!!!

Fantastic cover !!! Great guitar-sound and "HELL YEAH" that is an amazing solo, I hear what you say Saijinn and know where you mean but I really think that this solo rocks anyway. I don't even think I'd redo it it sounds great as it is.  Vox is really good too.

And that is a killer bass Mark !!!

It's funny how we view things. I don't think he needs to re-record it at all! It stands great as is.

But if it was my recording, it would bother me SO much! heh  I guess we are much more critical of ourselves though ;)

Don't touch it Gnasty! Great as is! ;)

Gritter

This is kick ass...your voice sounds awesome and the chorus works especially well.

LOL   NOOOOOO  I apologize! I had a another listen, on top of the other dozen or so listens, I realized that this piece is PERFECT!!!  Don't touch anything!

For what its worth, I really like the solo the way it is, I don't hear the "mistake" or whatever it is you guys hear, to me there is a lot of heart and soul in that solo and it is the sound of pure musical joy.  If it were me I would be very happy with the solo, would not agonize over it and would be moving on to my next song.  Thats the way I hear it.  Just as Saij says in his last post, "Don't touch anything!".

Wow, great rock metal plugged cover guys!!  Luv the guitar and bass ~ so heavy & crisp that it stings!  I think it sounds great, the vox sound great too; a unique mix, but i really still like it just like that!
