I got £10 on England winning 6-0 (50/1  ) I thought there's been too many upsets so far and we're playing the 1000/1 outsiders & the tournaments due a 'true to form' result. Ah well, it's only money. I'd have only wasted it on food or bills lol. My real (head) prediction is 3-0. Rooney, Rooney, Lampard.

For those of you who can't stand the vuvuzela, why not route your TV's audio signal through your BR and filter out the vuvuzela?

This article explains how to do it with the PreSonus Studio One. You should be able to do the same thing with the 4-band EQ of the BR.

Once again two things are ruining the world cup (1) the ridiculous dives taken by the italians and others and (2) the even more ridiculous refereeing decisions.

They really need to enter this century and have a video referee.  It would help with close calls and you could also use it to penalise players who dive.

The other thing that would lelp the game is to introduce a 5 or 10 minute sin bin.  These automatic sendoffs (often made on bad decisions) simply ruin the games.  Send players off for 10 mins and/or report them for a judciary to make a decision on punishment after the game.
