This was really cool... but I think I'd like to hear you build up guitar a bit. Some long bends and melodic phrasing that culminated in your more technical playing would, imo, really make for a great piece. I sometimes wish I could play like that.

TC, I think your assessment is correct. Some legato lines leading into a crescendo would have
been a bit more pleasing to the ear. This was a one-take tune and I never got back to it to brush
it up with some Note Polish. Maybe later I can do it. Lots of other stuff ahead of it right now.

Very cool guitar playing & instro SD.!!. ~ your guitar playing kinda got that "erratic attack in your face" method of delivery that seems appealing to me ~ Got some cool shredding sections too, that i dig!

I like the piano background, helps to do some nice smoothing...  I agree, i'm sure we all can use a little of that "note polish" to pretty things up a bit for massive high-quality CD releases :~)

Tools: Kramer Strat, LP Deluxe, Avalon 12-string, Ibanez Bass, Yamaha Keyboard, Micro BR, Riffworks, Line 6 UX2, & a little Ableton & Audacity for grins :~)

Love that overdriven sound, sounds like a 200w amp through a 10w speaker. Some good solid playing and I'm fascinated by the piano in the background, is there a story in there somewhere?  Willie

Thanks for listening, guys.

Willie, yes, there is a bit of a story about the keyboard track on this tune.
It was recorded from an iPod Touch. I then imported it into my eBand and used it
as a backing track for the percussion and guitar.
The percussion was also done on said iPod.

Once again technology surpasses the best efforts of mice and men.

Hey, I was expecting a Rock ballad in respect of the intro. As previously said... great guitar sound and attack.
Put some softer pieces in there. verses and choruses with some vox and then let the guitar explode into a solo, along with the piano..would really make it then
,,,love the solo lines thou... man...:))
