Inspired by DaSilvaSings and his Casio VL Tone, I found mine, stuck some batteries in and did this.   Get Carter from the album Dare by the Human League, 1981.  They still perform it live using a VL Tone - have a look at YouTube!

This should go straight into 'I am the law'

I'm  going to have to dig out my Human Leage now,

Thanks for posting.

eheheh. I just think you should cut the high frequencies a bit - with phones, it almost blasted my ears!

Dare was the first album I bought. It really freaked me out when I got the 25th anniversary edition a few years ago (bundled with 'Love and Dancing'). Nice cover version. In fact, it's exactly the same as the original? Are you sure this wasn't straight off the CD? Lol. Great memories. Thanks.

I've never mastered keyboard - I'm a one finger player.  If you remember, you can programme the notes into the VL Tone and then play them back with the two blue one key play buttons, so you only have to concentrate on the timing.  Otherwise it would have taken me 20 takes to get it right.  Phil Oakey does the same when they play it live.

Glad its brought back a few memories!
