This started life as an experiment - trying to write and develop a song using a single chord.  It wasn't a challenge or anything like, just a wondered if it would work on a full length song.
The chord is A5, but with lots of variations thrown in.  Words are a bit cheesy, and rhymey but hey!

You didn't see me cry

I walked on the moon,
A hundred years too soon,
Loved what I could see,
But nothing, nothing's free.

I sailed the deep blue sea,
And you were good for me,
Didn't come back home,
Now I'm all alone.

Flew up in the sky,
Hidden by the clouds ,
You couldn't see me cry,
I couldn't see my way back home.

Now I live inside my head,
This is all I see,
The things I've left behind,
Remember you were good for me.

Greeny

This has a deep, hypnotic groove going on - quite psychedelic to my ears. I like the soft, padded rhythm a lot. It has a very retro but cool vibe that sounds like it should be in a Tarrantino / Roberto Rodrigues film soundtrack. I like it. Going back in for another listen.

Totally agree with Greeny. This would be great as part of a film score. Enjoyed it a lot. Willie

God this is great. Like The Doors. Simmering along. Great vox. Hypnotic guitars & groove. Underplayed power at it's finest. Totally 1st class.

Yeah.  Does sound "Doorsy".  Not bad for a single chord tune.   Holds interest throughout between the lyrics and the lead work.

Thanks all for the encouragement - hope you don't regret it.  Shall be absent for a few days from the board, but hope to be be back invigorated and erm - well back anyway.

Thanks also for the "Doorsy" comments.
