Have been busy last few days getting my websites up to date as have to rush back to England to see my Sons new twins which were born a couple of days ago. Just had to write a quick song for them. Even used the Micro BR drums for a change.
Can't wait to see the little buggers.

A nice bouncy song for a couple of bouncing babies. There's a lot of love and pride in this. Very nicely done. Expensive birthdays and Christmases await!

Thank you for your congratulations on the births of "The Boys" - I can't wait to see them - pictures are never the same.
Glad you liked this little bit of self indulgence, but I did have couple of PM's wanting the lyrics so here they are.
Recent Arrivals
Smiling faces just laying there waiting,
A great life for them, I'm anticipating,
They look so fragile, in their beds every day,
Asking questions, like how much do they weigh?
What are their names? Are they old or new
I'm sure, they will suit whatever you chose,
They both look like Winston as all babies do,
There's not one laying there, it turned out two,
They're recent arrivals to our family tree,
Two little boys, one for you, one for me.
They will always be known to us as "Our two little Boys"
When going out at Christmas, buying their toys.
We've other children that are part of our tree,
To think it started with just you and me,
They're all growing older, becoming adults,
If they got problems, it won't be their fault.
INSTRUMENTAL
Time is flying; we've so many years,
Many with laughter, not many with tears,
It aighn't been a bad life, with just you and me,
But they're recent arrivals to our family tree.
We've many more children to think of each day,
And they're all very special, in their own little way,
We'll be there for them in their times of need,
Cos they're all part of our family tree.

This is the sound of pure joy captured in song form.  I get a warm glow all over just from listening.  Great stuff.  I really like your rhythm strumming there, keeps it moving along nice.

Great song Geoff, and Congratulations!  I have four nieces and two nephews, so I have seen first hand how excited Grandma and Grandpa get when the grandkids arrive.
Okay to cover.
