Keepers of Redemption - HELP! - shredders welcome (singers too)

I'm stuck on this one so thought I'd throw it out and see what sticks.  Normally I don't do heavy metal or the like but this theme and melody has been haunting me too long now.  It's growing on me so want to finish it.

My attempts at a lead are too mellow to do it justice and my singing, well just SUCKS!  Also I only have this one verse I repeat over and over and have run into a creative wall:
