Thanks for all the compliments. I am pleased you all enjoyed it.
It did start out as an idea in my head for a backing for my vocals, but things happen when you start mixing bits together and other ideas develop.
Modern recording equipment does really help and I am only learning how to use it. Half the time I don't know the technical details, but the best equipment was free "Your Ears". If it sounds right, go with it and see what happens.
Also this new gear does help you sound and play better with the tweaking you can do. My piano playing is of a reasonable standard, but by using tricks it jumps up the grades.
At the end of the day, the song is the end result and if its liked by listeners, how it is all put together doesn't matter. It is just there to enjoy.
I look forward to creating some more music for "Your Ears"

Geoff, awesome tune. You are killing those keys, brother.
I wish the arrangement was more color with a little Black sprinkled in but it's a nice piece, as is.
Man do I have a long way to go.
Great job...

Epic in scope and sound.  I really like the mood here, following the stream of the melody within the chords, driving, searching, stumbling and getting back up, and striving on some more, thats the feeling I get from this epic piece of wonderful music.  This is life music.

Again thank you for all the comments on this. I am glad you all like it.  A bit different from all the class rock and other goodies we hear on this great Forum.
I am now dedicating this to my son who has just rung us to tell us his partner has just given birth to twin boys (two weeks early). We have other grandchildren, but twins are a bit special. A new song will have to come out from somewhere for them. When I get over the hangover, I will have to have a look into that.
I will be off the map for a few days as we will be off to England to see them. Yippee.
The parties getting into full swing now..........got to go......another beer awaits............
