This is the second version of Cross The River. The one I posted last week had an abrupt end so, as I was advised, I have practised the finishing and here is the result. I think it is an improvement and hope you do to.

Excellent version! This soo easy going, beautiful and catchy tune. The production is just right; clear and smooth! Well done!!

Definitely a big improvement in quality ~ great sounding voice and harmonizing lyrics!!  Great song Geoff, very smooth!

IMHO, I would luv to hear you add a solo break or bridge in this, with drums and all, and then come back to your great mellow sounding singing....

Not having heard the original - I can't compare, but this sounds fine to me.  Has lots of potentialities.  Maybe an instrumental break would work in a fuller production.- but with such an easy going tune I can imagine it would work well in a "campfire" scenario, either in real time, or in a movie.  Very nice.

I really liked the first version, and you have really shined it up here. Those vocal harmonies are wonderful. Very nice!

Wrap it up, I'll take it!

Hi - thanks for the compliments, I am glad you liked this rework. It has grown on me as well.
As a matter of interest for those who say they never heard the original here is a link to it

It was called Cross the River - just put "To" in front rather than "Two" after it
